Q: Is there a service minimum required to hold my wedding date?
A: Yes, we have a four service minimum in order to book our services.
Q: How do I book my wedding date with Down the Aisle in Style?
A: Please fill out the contact form on this website and press send. We will contact you within 48 hours and we can move forward with booking.
Q: Where do I go for the hair and makeup trial and what does it involve?
A: We give you the option to come to our studio in Baltimore or we can come to you. The hair trial is 45 minutes and the makeup trial is 45 minutes as well. We will ask you to provide us with any pictures that show the look(s) you are going for. We will consult and then do a practice round. This will give us an idea of exactly what we want to achieve on the wedding day.
Q: How should I have my hair for the trial/day of?
A: Please come to the trial/wedding day with hair clean and dry. We will take care of the rest!
Q: Is there a contract for hair and makeup services?
A: Yes, we require a completed contract for wedding day services. We provide the contract at the trial and the bride has two weeks after the trial to complete and return the contract via email or mail.
Q: What are the accepted forms of payment?
A: We accept cash and check as forms of payment. All checks should be made out to : Down the Aisle in Style
Q: When is payment due for the trial/wedding?
A: Payment for the trial is due on the day of the trial. Payment for wedding day services is due on the wedding day.
Q: Are there travel fees for the trial/wedding day?
A: If the trial/wedding is in the Baltimore area, there is no travel fee. This includes Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Anywhere outside of Baltimore is $.55 per mile per stylist. This applies for the trial and for the wedding day.
Q: How is timing handled for services on the wedding day?
A: Stylist and makeup artists will work on a 45 minute timeline per service. After services are completed, a final touchup is available and then payment is due and stylists and makeup artists will then finish up. Any bride that is interested in having the stylists and makeup artists stay for the full day for can inquire about a quote for the full day.
Q: How is parking payment handled for wedding day services?
A: In many cases, our team travels to hotels and other wedding venues for the wedding day, where it is necessary to pay to park. Those costs will be included in the payment.
Q: On the wedding day, do the stylists/makeup artists stay for touchup after the services are complete?
A: After all services are completed, the stylist will do a final touchup for the complete wedding party prior to finishing up.
Q: Can I book just hair or just makeup services?
A: Absolutely! We can definitely accommodate just hair or just makeup as long as the minimum service requirement is met.
